Prashant Deshpande completed his B.Com and started his professional career as an Accountant. His early exposure to finance and business operations created a strong interest in understanding how different departments work together.
He subsequently completed CCCO, ADCCSA and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications, building the technical foundation that enabled his transition from accounting and business operations into software development.
A significant early opportunity was the development of an ERP system for a polyurethane manufacturing unit. The system covered Finance, Marketing, HR & Administration, Production and Inventory.
The organization continues to use that system even today. This experience established an important principle that continues to influence Vinfro's technology approach: software must understand the business process it is designed to support.

In 2002, Prashant Deshpande decided to establish his own technology setup in India. Despite opportunities to pursue a career abroad, he chose entrepreneurship and continued building the business in India.
