Labicon brings connected weighing, review, traceability and balance control into a browser-based QC environment. With ViSetu Wi-Fi Gateway connectivity, the balance can be operated without a dedicated PC at the instrument.
Users can work from a mobile, tablet, PC, laptop or Mac through a browser, subject to the configured deployment and user access.
Labicon Balance is designed for QC laboratories that need reliable electronic weighing records, reduced manual data entry and stronger control over balance operations. The Basic version focuses on essential QC weighing, while the Pro version extends the platform into complete balance, calibration, test-sequence and operational control.
Use Labicon Basic when the primary requirement is controlled weighing and review, or Labicon Pro when the laboratory needs complete balance lifecycle control, calibration management, sequence control, certificates, analytics and integration.
The Basic version is focused on day-to-day QC weighing activities. It provides a simple, controlled browser workflow for capturing weights, reviewing entries and maintaining usage records.
Essential weighing control for QC laboratories
Complete balance control, calibration and QC operations
Maintain controlled balance information together with applicable weight-box certificate and validity information.
Prepare the operating procedure and configure the applicable calibration parameters and acceptance controls.
Schedule daily and monthly calibration activities and maintain calibration records in the application.
Restrict balance use when calibration is due or when a configured calibration/test requirement has failed.
Generate calibration data sheets and certificates from the controlled calibration workflow.
Capture content-uniformity data and provide trend-oriented analysis for review and monitoring.
Allocate balances to tests and enforce the configured sequence before the next activity can proceed.
Authorized reviewers can review weighing entries from another network PC instead of standing beside the balance.
Combine single and differential weighing records by AR number to make review faster and easier.
Labicon Pro can be configured around the organization's balance operating procedure and calibration requirements. The platform can maintain applicable parameters and scheduled activities rather than treating calibration as a separate manual exercise.

The ViSetu Wi-Fi Gateway acts as the connectivity layer between the laboratory balance and Labicon. This architecture removes the need for a dedicated computer beside every balance and allows authorized users to operate and review the workflow through a browser.
Capture individual weights through the controlled Labicon workflow.
Capture and calculate differential weighing activities with traceable records.
Capture multiple observations and calculate SD / RSD for the configured activity.
Move entries through the configured review and approval process.
Generate or print the weighing slip according to the configured workflow.
Maintain a controlled record of balance use, activity and associated users.
For controlled QC activities, Labicon Pro can allocate a balance for a test sequence and enforce the configured order of operations. For example, if LOD1 must be completed before LOD2, the next activity can remain unavailable until the preceding activity is completed according to the configured workflow.
LOD1 is completed → result is reviewed/accepted as configured → LOD2 becomes available. This provides an electronic workflow control instead of depending only on operator memory.
Labicon Pro can support content uniformity data capture and trend-oriented analysis so that laboratory teams can review weighing-related observations in a structured digital environment.
QR-code scanning can be incorporated into weighing activities for identification of samples, materials, batches, tests or other configured laboratory records. This helps reduce manual selection and supports faster traceability.
Labicon can integrate with V!-LIMS and, where required, other laboratory systems. This makes the balance an active part of the laboratory workflow rather than an isolated instrument producing manually transcribed results.
Connect weighing activities with laboratory sample and QC workflows.
API/integration possibilities for organizations using another LIMS platform.
Designed to work naturally with Vinfro's laboratory and quality applications.
Labicon is designed as a browser-based application. Subject to network, browser and deployment configuration, users can access the application from mobile devices, tablets, PCs, laptops or Mac systems without installing a dedicated Labicon application at every workstation.
Cloud-hosted deployment for organizations looking for managed infrastructure and remote access.
Deploy within the organization's own server and network infrastructure according to its IT and security requirements.
Authorized users and reviewers can access the application according to configured concurrent-user access.
Labicon Pro is not limited to collecting weight values. It is intended to provide a controlled operational layer around the balance, including operating procedure, calibration, certificates, usage, sequence, review, reporting and integration.
Balance → ViSetu → Labicon → Controlled Weighing / Calibration → Review → Report / Certificate → LIMS Integration.
Start with Labicon Basic for essential QC weighing or choose Labicon Pro for complete balance and calibration control.
